Dr. Matthew Foulds, University School. Dr. Matthew Foulds is the James and Donna Reid Chair in History at University School, located in Hunting Valley, Ohio. He earned his B.A. in History from the College of Wooster in 2005 and his M.A. and Ph.D. in History from The Ohio State University in 2008 and 2012, respectively. Matt previously taught at The Ohio State University, Ohio Dominican University, Shepherd University, and Hathaway Brown School before accepting his current appointment in 2016. Matt is currently interested in the intersection of culture (particularly religion) and politics in modern America with a particular focus on the factors that contribute to political and cultural polarization.
