Lyndhurst Community of Faith Church (Lyndhurst Faith) respects your privacy when you visit with us in person or through electronic means. Since starting this church anew in January of 2023 from two existing churches, Lyndhurst Faith is using technology to help with our ministries of proclamation, sharing of the Sacraments, and living in covenant life with God and each other. We would like to continue to use and improve our technology and leverage it to help the people we touch with love, kindness, justice, and compassion.
Every communication and service we provide is created intentionally and with great care. Each one is designed to help more people become equipped to witness the love and grace of God in and for the world and in a safe and secure manner. We craft these materials and services as an act of ministry to serve you. You have choices in those experiences. You choose what you access. You choose what you share and with whom. Your data is yours. Lyndhurst Faith does not sell your information, nor will we share it with others without your consent. By providing personal data, including by use of this website, you agree to allow us to contact you, including by mail, email, telephone, social media, digital message, or SMS text message, in connection with our charitable purposes:

That example being when we say Lyndhurst Faith we are saying Lyndhurst Community of Faith Church. We will refer to Lyndhurst Faith by name or with “we” or “us” or “our” throughout this policy. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of data we collect from your interactions with Lyndhurst Faith and how we process that information. You have choices about how your personal information is accessed, collected, shared and stored by Lyndhurst Faith, which is discussed below. In general, the information we collect depends on the services you request. In addition to personal information that you provide (such as your name, email address, financial information and other personally-identifiable information), we collect Internet and other network activity information with cookies and other automated technologies as discussed below. We use the data we collect and that you provide as well as inferences we make from that information as follows:

Your profile, information you provide us, and the information we collect
We do not collect personally identifiable data, either offline or online, from you except when you provide it to us. You do not need to provide personal information to us to use the Lyndhurst Faith website or other electronic media. However, on our website, we allow you to create an approved profile which allows us to tailor our sites and services to provide a more personalized experience. To create a profile on our website, we require your first and last name, your email address and a password to authenticate you when you try to access your profile. We create user profiles for offline purposes as well, which include but are not limited to volunteerism and inquiries concerning employment. Beyond the personal information needed to create an online profile, you have choices about what additional information you provide to us, which may include your street address, zip code, the names of your family members, gender, and your marital status. All of this will not be stored in association with your online profile. Certain information may be required based on your specific request, such as your social security number for employment inquiries and volunteer requests; we will notify you of this at the time of such a request. We also collect information about you when you send, receive, or engage in communications with us, including when you submit personal information or requests by emailing Lyndhurst Faith. We retain those communications to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and improve our sites and our services.
If you have become a member with us, the information you provide us is generally associated with your offline profile and is stored internally in our third-party relationship management system or “CRM system.” We may combine the information you provide us for your profile and through interactions with our electronic media, with information we infer from personal interaction or print media, for internal development to improve the overall quality of our sites, services and products. We may also make recommendations to you for other Lyndhurst Faith services based on the information you provide and we infer from both offline and online sources.
What personal data do we collect and why we collect it
Your Posts
Our website and electronic media have a wide array of functionality, including uploading photos and video, creating prayer requests, and identifying and communicating with your Lyndhurst Faith groups and teams. Some Lyndhurst Faith media may allow you to publish, distribute and display certain content, which we will refer to as “posted” and the content as “posts.” Posts may be made on public and private (members only) areas of our website and social media accounts you access through our sites or may otherwise be transmitted to third parties. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in a public manner whether through collaborative postings, social media, message boards, or other public online forums, this information may be collected and used by others. We cannot control the actions of other users or third parties with whom you choose to share your posts. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that those posts will not be viewed by unauthorized persons, nor do we accept any liability associated with those posts.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if the provided email address is valid and active. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. For your convenience, Gravatar’s privacy policy link is provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.
If you choose to provide a voluntary donation through our site as you are able, then and only then will you be prompted and required to provide credit card, bank account, and other payment information necessary to process the transaction. We will collect personal information such as your name, address, phone number and/or email address to ensure that your donation is used for the purpose you request and to provide you with an “Annual Giving Statement” that itemizes your donation(s) for tax purposes or your personal use. Your personal or financial information (with the exception of your email address and name) is not stored in connection with your online profile. If you have no pre-existing offline profile with us, we will use this information to create an offline profile for you in our internal CRM system. We will not store or otherwise process financial information provided to us online for the purposes of receiving or processing future donations. As of the date of this Policy, we use the third party website and application, Tithe.ly, for online donations. For your convenience, Tithe.ly’s privacy policy link is provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. For donations you provide to us in person or by mail, we store your financial information in our databases in an encrypted form for as long as necessary to process your donation and as required by applicable law and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Cookies
By agreeing to our Privacy Policy, you agree to the use of cookies and similar technologies (for example; web beacons, pixels, tags, and device identifiers, which we collectively refer to as “cookies”) as described in this policy. If you use Lyndhurst Faith’s site without changing your browser or device settings to disable cookies, we assume that you consent to receive all cookies provided through Lyndhurst Faith’s site.

Analytics and Performance
When you visit one of our webpages, our web server automatically recognizes the visitor’s domain name, if any, and collects the date and time of visit, the client IP address, and referring site. This information is referred to as the Urchin Tracking Module or UTM. We retain this metadata indefinitely. We also retain email addresses from you if you choose to provide them, via a web page, email, and information volunteered by you, such as survey information and/or site registrations.
We internally analyze the personal data available to us and use of content found through our electronic media. In some cases, we work with trusted third parties to perform this research, under controls that are designed to protect your privacy as discussed below.
