A native of Ukraine, Dr. Melnychenko opened her Music Studio in July 2007. Since then, she has taught students as young as 4 years old, teens, and adults passionate about playing Violin or Piano, along with learning Music Theory and History.

As a music faculty, Dr. Melnychenko possesses over 17 years of music teaching experience in Europe and the United States. She teaches Violin, Piano, String Ensemble, and String Quartet classes and lectures Keyboard and Ear Training courses at Cuyahoga Community College Eastern Campus in Highland Heights, Ohio. Dr. Melnychenko holds a professional Teaching License in the State of Ohio Multi-Age, PK-12, in Music, a Master’s Degree in Music and Arts Administration, and a Doctor of Education Degree from the National American University.

She is also an active member of the National Teachers Music Association of America (NTMA) and the Northeast Ohio Music Teacher Association (NEOMTA), where she has served as a Co-Chair of Music Festivals at Cleveland State University and Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory.

Dr. Melnychenko’s students participated in numerous music festivals and concerts and were accepted to the Cleveland School of the Arts, Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, and Singing Angels, and received multiple scholarships to colleges and universities throughout the United States.

Heights Youth Theatre is one of the oldest children’s theaters in the country offering kids aged 6 to 18 high quality theatrical experiences and training, for 65+ years, while also creating well rounded creative individuals.  Mission:  Heights Youth Theatre exists to create quality live theater that entertains its audiences and educates, encourages and inspires its young artists to grow!

Chamber Music Guild host a season of classical chamber music each year in our sanctuary.
